Use this application to experiment with weighting different components of Land Cover scoring.
Some guidelines on choosing weights and values:
Move a slider all the way to the left to remove an attribute from consideration. Slide it to the right to include it.
Up to 10 variables may be evaluated at any one time.
Click a detailed settings box to expand it and weight the individual sub-items for that variable.
Click a location to see how much each selected attribute contributed to its final score. It's important not to move the mouse at all while clicking, or it will pan the map instead.
Please note: If you click to identify and then hover over one of the pie chart wedges, you'll see some statistics, including
the value of the pixel clicked and the minimum and maximum values for that attribute within the screen's extent.
In some cases, the identified value may be outside the min-max range. This is due to generalizations that are done for the sake of performance
and may discard certain uncommonly occurring peak values (e.g. very high slopes that occur only infrequently).
